Lunch & Learn: Work + Wellness

As designers, we’re brutal on our bodies. Throughout our days, we exceed our client's needs to make their brands healthy; and yet, we often neglect the primal necessity of meaningful self-care maintenance.

This workshop will cover the foundational basics of nutrition, posture and movement, the ever elusive rest, breath, and the art of putting it into practice through the basics of habit creation. We’re going to get up out of our seats and move a little too, so wear clothes and shoes that you’re comfortable standing, bending, and stretching in.

About this Event:

This event is an online webinar, so you can enjoy this Lunch & Learn session from the comfort of wherever you are tuning in. You'll need standing space (at minimum behind a chair), but enough space to stretch and bend a little. If you have lacrosse and/or tennis balls, they'll come in handy.

Speaker:

By day, Laurel Webster is a founding partner of Hersick+Webster Creative Partners, a brand marketing studio that works with clients that inspire active, healthy, fulfilling and fun lives. By all other hours, she serves on the AIGA Design for Good task force (and is a coauthor of Path to Impact), is an avid runner, and yogi teacher and practitioner. With whatever spare time she creates, Laurel can be found cuddling with her Great Dane, or out tasting new wines with her husband James.
