Winter 2012 American Design Award

It was a long time coming, but the American Design Awards recently announced the winners of the Winter 2012 design competition (took a while because they launched a new website too). It was worth the wait though because we took home 2nd Place in the Corporate Identity category for our work with Life Line Financial Group! One place higher than last year. Yeehaw!

While it is awesome that we won an award for this project, we felt like we were already winners for getting to work with the guys at LLFG (sounds cheesy but it's true). Not only were they super fun to work with, but these guys are making great efforts to put ethics and a personal service back into the financial management industry. The founders cut their teeth in big firms where young athletes, actors, musicians, and entertainers are treated like a number on a spreadsheet, instead of people with individual needs and goals. So these three pioneers went out on their own to reverse that trend, and started Life Line, where young celebrities are treated like people, not paychecks.
