Black Voices in Podcasts - Black History Month Edition

The way we consume content has changed entirely. Podcasts are a form of entertainment, education, and inspiration nowadays.

This time, to honor Black History Month, we are showcasing podcasts on entrepreneurship, black history, and the importance of intersectionality:

Hosted by a “multiethnic collective dedicated to loving Black and brown people by educating, resourcing, and challenging white people to participate in racial justice”, this show seeks to educate listeners on relevant black history topics.

This podcast, hosted by entrepreneur Nicaila Matthews Okome, spotlights black women entrepreneurs who scaled from having a side hustle to a profitable business. Every week expect interviews with inspiring women such as Myleik Teele of CurlBox, Lisa Price of Carol's Daughter, and more.

Where’s the Funding podcast shares the journey of several black and other underserved entrepreneurs, the fog around fundraising, and investing experiences.

Learn, grow, and get inspired with over 200 stories of bold and brilliant ‘Black trailblazers’. By listening to this podcast, you’ll get innovative tools from Black professionals to start your own personal or professional journey.

This is the show to engage, inform, and support Black entrepreneurs. If you’d like to hear about entrepreneurial journeys, and how to manage stress and self-doubt, this is the place.

Startup To Scale, hosted by Jordan Buckner,  is the resource for growing your food, beverage, and CPG company from a young company to a successful business.

Lastly, we can’t forget about learning how America’s system has affected the experience of Black women. Intersectionality Matters is hosted by Kimberlé Crenshaw, an American civil rights advocate and a leading scholar of critical race theory.
